Cookie Policy.

Last updated: July 2026. The minimum needed to run the site and app. No advertising cookies — analytics stays off until you accept.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage and session storage — do comparable jobs. We use "cookies" here to cover all of them. Some are strictly necessary; others are optional analytics you control.

What we set

  • Strictly necessary — sign-in and security state. Sign-in is passwordless: after you use your email link, the app keeps you signed in with a short-lived session token stored in your browser (not a third-party tracking cookie). The app cannot work without this, so it needs no consent.
  • Preferences — small choices so you are not re-asked every visit.
  • Analytics — optional, off until you accept. See below.

Analytics & consent

On our marketing site we use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2 to see which pages are useful. Analytics is denied by default — no analytics cookies or tags fire until you press Accept on the cookie banner. Decline and none are set.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser (a bv_cookie value). To change it, clear that value or your site storage and reload — the banner returns.

Third parties

  • Stripe — sets its own cookies for payments and fraud prevention, only when you reach checkout or manage billing.
  • Google Analytics — only after you accept analytics, as described above.

We do not run advertising pixels, ad networks, or cross-site retargeting.

Managing them

You are in control. Use the banner to accept or decline optional analytics, and change your mind anytime by clearing your site storage. Every browser also lets you view, block, or delete cookies, or browse privately. Blocking strictly necessary state will stop you signing in; blocking analytics will not break anything.

Do Not Track / GPC

We run no cross-site advertising trackers, so there is nothing there to opt out of. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a decline for optional analytics.
