Section 01What cookies are.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and pixels — do comparable jobs. We use the word "cookies" in this policy to cover all of them.
Some are strictly necessary to make a site work. Others remember your preferences or help us understand usage. We tell you which is which below.
Section 02Cookies we set.
We group what we use into three buckets:
- Strictly necessary — sign-in and session cookies (via Firebase Authentication) that keep you logged into the BABAV dashboard, plus security tokens that protect against cross-site request forgery. The site and app cannot function without these, so they do not require consent.
- Preferences — remember small choices like staying signed in, so you are not asked to re-authenticate on every visit.
- Analytics — privacy-respecting, aggregated usage measurement so we can see which pages and features are used. These never identify you personally and are never used for advertising.
Section 03Third-party cookies.
A few trusted services we rely on may set their own cookies when you use the relevant feature:
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention, set only when you reach checkout or manage billing.
- Calendly — set only if you open the call-booking widget on our demo page.
- Google Fonts — used to serve the typefaces on this site.
We do not control third-party cookies; they are governed by each provider’s own privacy and cookie policies.
Section 04Managing cookies.
You are in control. Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies in its settings. You can also browse in a private/incognito window to limit them to a single session.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing into the dashboard. Blocking preferences or analytics cookies will not break the site.
Section 05Do Not Track.
We do not run cross-site advertising trackers, so there is nothing to opt out of there. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we honor it for any optional analytics.
Section 06Changes to this policy.
We will update this page if our use of cookies changes, and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be flagged in the app or by email where appropriate.
