Delete your data.

You can remove your data from BABAV at any time — all of it, or one channel at a time. Here are the exact steps, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.

Section 01Overview.

BABAV stores only what it needs to run your automations: your account details, the brand voice and rules you configure, conversation history from connected channels, and encrypted access tokens for those channels. You can delete any of it on your own, or ask us to do it for you.

Section 02Delete your whole account.

The fastest way to delete everything:

  • Sign in at app.babav.co.
  • Open Settings → Account.
  • Choose Delete account and confirm.
This is irreversible. It permanently removes your account, configuration, conversation history, and all encrypted channel tokens.

Section 03Disconnect a single channel.

To remove just one platform (for example, only Instagram or only Gmail) while keeping your account:

  • Go to Settings → Connections in the dashboard.
  • Click Disconnect next to the channel.

The stored token for that channel is wiped within minutes. You can also revoke BABAV’s access from the platform’s own settings (for example, Facebook’s Business Integrations or your Google Account’s third-party access page).

Section 04Request deletion by email.

Prefer we handle it, or can’t sign in? Email support@babav.co from the address on your account with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will verify the request and delete your data, and confirm by email when it is done.

Section 05What gets deleted, and when.

On deletion we remove:

  • Your account and profile details.
  • Your brand voice, knowledge base, and rules.
  • Conversation and activity history.
  • All encrypted channel access tokens.

Live records are purged within 30 days. Anonymized or encrypted backups roll off and expire within 90 days. We may retain the minimum required by law (for example, basic billing records for tax purposes).

Section 06Facebook & Instagram data.

If you connected a Meta platform (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or WhatsApp), deleting your BABAV account or disconnecting that channel removes the data and tokens associated with it as described above. You can also trigger removal from Facebook by going to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, selecting BABAV, and removing it. To request deletion directly, email support@babav.co.
