AI CRM for creators who sell in the DMs

Most CRMs were built for a sales team with a pipeline meeting on Monday. If you are one person who sells through Instagram DMs, a Gmail thread and the occasional WhatsApp message, that shape does not fit — you end up with a database you have to feed by hand, which is exactly the work you wanted software to take.
BABAV approaches it from the other end. The contact record is a by-product of the conversation, not something you maintain. This page explains how that works and, just as importantly, where it will not be enough.
Contacts build themselves from conversations
Every DM, comment and email BABAV handles is attached to a person. One identity, one memory, one knowledge base across all twelve channels — so an email and an Instagram DM from the same human are the same conversation, not two rows you later notice are duplicates.
You do not create contacts. You do not tag them. Somebody messages you, the agent replies in your voice, and the record exists with the full thread on it.
Leads stay out of your contacts until they answer
This is the part that is different from almost every CRM, and it was a deliberate design decision.
A lead discovered by the browser extension or the crawler is a prospect, not a contact. It does not enter your contacts book. It sits in a separate three-stage pipeline:
- New — found, no outreach sent yet.
- Contacted — you have emailed or DM’d them, waiting on a reply.
- Replied — they answered. Only now do they graduate into Contacts.
The reason is simple: a scraped email address is not a relationship, and a contacts book that treats it like one stops being useful the moment it fills with people who have never heard of you. Your contacts are people who have actually spoken to you. Everything else is a prospect until it earns the promotion.
Finding leads
The BABAV Finder browser extension pulls public emails, phone numbers and handles off any page into your prospect list in one click. It is free and account-gated.
Adding a lead to your list costs $0.05, and that includes all of its contact information — there is no separate unlock fee, and no masked-until-you-pay preview. Cold email is $0.10 per send, or $0.15 if you have us verify the address first. Every one of those charges sits under the same spending cap as the rest of your account, so an automatic scan pauses at your ceiling instead of running up a bill.
What it costs
There is no separate CRM price. It is part of the plan: from $39/mo depending on how many of the six billable channels you connect, and every plan includes $25 of usage each month before you pay any overage. Replies are $0.02, leads $0.05, cold emails $0.10.
You are billed only when an action completes successfully — a failed send is not billed — and you set a hard cap the agent cannot exceed. The 7-day free trial takes a card up front and is capped at $5 of usage.
It books the call too
When a conversation gets to the point of “can we talk”, the agent can book it. Booking links carry your brand, and reminders go out over the channel the person actually uses, with email as the fallback.
Where this is not enough
Said plainly, because a CRM page that only lists strengths is useless to you.
- No sales pipeline in the usual sense. Three prospect stages, fixed. No custom stages, no deal values, no forecasting, no revenue reporting. If you manage opportunities by value, buy a real CRM.
- No shared team inbox. One login per brand. No assignment, no internal notes, no collision detection between two people answering at once, no audit of who replied. Multi-user exists only on the agency tier.
- No commerce actions. It cannot look up an order, issue a refund, check inventory or edit a subscription.
- No SOC 2. Not yet.
- Threads auto-replies are pending Meta approval. Threads reads and insights work today; automatic replying does not.
Who this actually fits
Solo founders and creator-led brands, roughly one to ten people, whose customer relationships live in DM threads and email rather than in a pipeline — and who currently have no CRM at all because every one they tried was more admin than it was worth.
If you have a sales team, stages you argue about, and a forecast to hit, this is not that. If your “CRM” is currently your Instagram inbox and your memory, this is built for exactly that problem.
