Delete your data.

Last updated: July 2026. Remove your data from BABAV anytime — all of it, or one channel. Here are the exact steps and what is removed.

Overview

BABAV stores only what it needs to run your automations: your account details, the brand voice and rules you configure, conversation and activity history from your connected channels, captured leads, and encrypted access tokens for those channels. You can delete any of it yourself, or ask us to.

Delete your account

The fastest way to remove everything:

  • Sign in at app.babav.co.
  • Open Settings → Account.
  • Choose Delete account and confirm.
This permanently removes your account, configuration, conversation history, captured contacts, and every encrypted channel token.

Disconnect one channel

To remove just one platform while keeping your account, go to Settings → Connections and click Disconnect. That channel's stored token is wiped within minutes. You can also revoke BABAV from the platform's own settings — for example your Google Account's third-party access page, or Facebook's Business Integrations — which revokes the token at Meta or Google directly.

Request by email

Prefer we handle it, or cannot sign in? Email support@babav.co from the address on your account with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will verify it, delete your data, and confirm when done.

What is deleted

On deletion we remove your account and profile, your brand voice / knowledge base / rules, your conversation and activity history, captured leads and contacts, and all encrypted channel tokens. Disconnecting or deleting also revokes the underlying access token at the platform (Meta, Google, and the others). We keep only the minimum the law requires — for example, basic billing records for tax.

Billing & closing invoice

Because usage is billed only on success and in arrears, canceling or deleting your account finalizes a closing invoice for any automated actions already completed but not yet billed. This settles what is owed for work done; it is not a new charge for deleting.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram) data

If you connected a Meta platform (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or WhatsApp), deleting your account or disconnecting the channel removes the associated data and tokens as above. You can also remove BABAV from Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations. BABAV additionally honors Meta's data-deletion and deauthorize callbacks: when Meta signals that a user removed the app, our endpoint verifies the signed request and scrubs the connected-account data and tokens tied to that user, then returns a confirmation per Meta's specification.
